Derick Moody graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science with honors, where he was the recipient the Outstanding Citizenship Crystal Eagle Scholarship. He then earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Idaho State University and completed a psychiatric rotation at State Hospital South.
Throughout his career, Derick has been exposed to a wide variety of mental illness and is passionate about providing care to his patients. He implements a holistic approach to psychiatric health that includes exercise programs, mindfulness and meditation, social relationship improvement, and nutrition and sleep regimes.
Derick is dedicated to educating others on mental illnesses and remedies. He continually strives to build upon his advanced knowledge of mental health by ensuring that he is apprised of the latest treatments and remedies that are available.
