Dr. Bentley graduated with an Associate’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Weber State University, a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah. He has been working in healthcare for the past 8 years with a wide variety of experience including patients of all ages, while in inpatient, outpatient, and homecare settings. His mental health experience includes working as a psychiatric technician in a residential treatment center for children and adolescents, as a Registered Nurse on an inpatient psychiatric unit, as a Behavioral Health Nurse in the Emergency Room, and as an RN at a detox facility. For the past two years he has worked as a resident in a community mental health clinic and also at the VA. His experience includes working with depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders.
Dr. Bentley is passionate about psychiatry and enjoys teaching others about mental health. He is dedicated in keeping up-to-date with current best-practices and cutting-edge treatments. His purpose is to provide effective treatment for mental illness to many who could greatly benefit.
